The Jihadi Political Attachment Disorder & Its Incitement to Violence During Ramadan:

Wikicommons: A model of the Palestinian IED hidden as a guitar that used in the Sbarro suicide bombing terror attack in Jerusalem 2001, Israeli Police Open Day at Rishon. This IED demonstrates how the jihadi suicide bomber concretely attaches to its victims in a death fusion. The subversion of the code of the guitar's music to a nefarious end signals the reverse world of the dysfunction fused group: what is good is bad and what is bad is good.

The Islamic State

Hezbollah

Hamas

Islamic Jihad

And all other jihadi groups

It is common nowadays to talk about attachment styles about how people relate to each other, especially coupls. This is also true for persons in the Arab and Muslim world who belong to terrorist organizations. Note that I do not use the word “individual” because they do not have an autonomous sense of self. These are hyper-fused groups, super meshed just as we might say of some pathological families.

For recruitment purposes the jihadi groups can easily tap into the preexisting fact that these families mass produce fused hamulas and clans that then build into tribes and so forth and so on. The cross-over into being recruited to a terrorist group is nothing more than a hop, skip and a jump on account of its violent attractive appeal and its built-in “familial” familiarity. The pump has been primed in these enmeshed dysfunctional families. This is because the families, the clans and the terrorist groups are not composed of “individuals” that have a sense of autonomy. These family members turned jihadis and lest we forget that jihad is a family matter or business involving other members because they always need to be in close contact with others as they have no boundaries. It is also why terrorist organizations are always screaming for “liberation” which should not be taken at face value for its meaning – “political independence and freedom” but it should be understood that at a much deeper level arising out of the unconscious, the “scream” signifies a wish to separate from the mother. The unconscious you say? Yes, 94% of our thinking is unconscious. Acting out violent behavior is the consummate expression of the unconscious. The consummate obsession with death can be seen in the death fusion of the suicide bombing, where the suicide bomber literally and concretely fuses with its enemy.

The Jihadi Political Attachment Disorder that afflicts these entities reveals how they attach to us. They attach to us violently through their murderous attacks. They do not know how to bond in any other way. They bond to us; they fuse to us hence repeating the pattern of the family enmeshment and attachment style through violence. These families are inherently violent though always this is disavowed for they live in a chronic state of denial.

But why the incitement to political action? To jihad? Fighting is enlivening; murder even more so as it is so primal. It is also concrete unelaborated behavior revealing the paucity of empathy, that is to say lacking a higher cognitive capacity, such as putting into words and resolving conflict without violence. Diplomacy. This kind of violence can only be contained by setting stringent boundaries such as turning a fence into a wall. The lack of a stable ability to negotiate without speaking out of both sides of one’s mouth reveals the cognitive limitations of terrorist organizations. These fused group terrorist entities actually feel dead. I tweeted in reply to an article at Times of Israel https://www.timesofisrael.com/amid-terror-wave-incitement-to-violence-floods-palestinian-social-media/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

“Incitement to violence is "enlivening" for a fused group like the jihadis because internally they feel dead and they are constantly projecting/acting out this dead feeling thru terrorist attacks by making the Other dead - lit. getting them to feel death, to become dead.”

But what about the use of social media? It too is an unconscious quest to fuse with the group through venting its participant’s murderous rage. The jihadis become the carriers and the tip of the spear for the social media negative violent influencers. It’s a very clever trick. In The Jihadi Dictionary I have written about cyberspace and attachment as well.

It is common nowadays to talk about attachment styles about how people relate to each other, especially couples. This is also true for persons in the Arab and Muslim world who belong to terrorist organizations. Note that I do not use the word “individual” because they do not have an autonomous sense of self. These are hyper-fused groups, super meshed just as we might say of some pathological families.

By doing so they can remain fused to their victims. They need to be able to retain the violent bonding because this is not only what they have learned even before they could speak in words during very early childhood before the age of 3 – to use the other as a kind of garbage can to project that part of themselves which feels toxic to them, it is an unconscious quest for purification that repeatedly fails. Purification is a very big if not critical issue where they come from.

Incitement is enlivening for the jihadis because they feel internally dead. Incitement to violence by the social media users is likewise enlivening because they too feel dead. To know this is to demystify the aberrant behavior and call it what it is.

The aim of this blog is to promote and advance an understanding of the relationship of early childhood to the jihadis’ violent behavior and externalized hatred. Many aspects of culture will be addressed in order to do a deep dive and a deep dig into the unconscious behavior behind all the political ideologies and the verbiage.
