What Does That Tell Us About Their Psychosis

What does the UNCONSCIOUS CHOICE of placement of Hamas rocket launchers near playgrounds and swimming pools in Gaza really tell us? And why is it so emotionally disturbing? This can also be applied to hospitals, ambulances etc.

None of this is new. However, when I first wrote this blog I forgot to stress the concept of Unconscious Choice. 94% of thinking is unconscious. Only 6% then would pertain to the idea of Hamas being "rational actors" but it should be apparently by now that they are not due to the crimes against humanity they committed on October 7, 2023.

The IDF has reported that rocket launchers were found near a swimming pool, playground and an amusement park.

Troops found four underground launchers some five meters (16 feet) from a children’s swimming pool, and around 30 meters from residential homes in the northern Gaza Strip, footage showed. Another clip showed troops locating a number of rocket launchers within a children’s playground and amusement park compound.

It’s not just that the placement is a “rational” strategic and tactical tool vis à vis the rockets, more significantly it reveals to us, unbeknownst to them, how enraged they really are, that they never got to play, to have fun, to be creative and to explore their interests. They wallow in negative affects – rage, envy, victimhood etc. They are the ones who have been oppressed by the way they have been raised and so they want others to be “oppressed” and to claim that Israel oppresses them by the alleged “occupation” which is really the “occupation” by their mothers and their "preoccupation" with their mothers. The mother should not to be blamed because she too was born into the psychotic male dominated world of their hyper shame honor culture.

In order to understand this a bit more, it’s important to introduce the idea of transitional objects for play.

The Importance of Transitional Objects – Such as Play Grounds, Amusement Parks and Teddy Bears

A psychological definition of transitional objects:

A transitional object is a something used by a child to ease the anxiety of separating from its first external object, the mother [emphasis added] until the child has a safe interior object, a cognitive symbol of her, to supply a sense of safety and comfort; a person or thing that supplies comfort, safety, and emotional health.

X (the crossed swords of Jihad) How does the above psychology definition of transitional objects translate into the unconscious behavior of Hamas? The impoverished thinking of the jihadis is readily observed in their body language and their choice and use of objects. They are developmentally arrested. Play was not part of their upbringing and culture. Play involves transitional objects and allows children to work through emotions and thoughts, separating out fantasy from the real world. This separation also involves individuating, separating from the mother. The jihadis did not have transitional objects to comfort them in order to separate from their mothers.

Instead, because they feel infantilized, they misuse objects like commercial airplanes and pressure cookers and turn them into destructive weapons. They hide behind playgrounds, amusement parks, swimming pools etc.

“Dr. Kobrin offers a great example of the misuse of transitional objects in the Muslim world by reminding us of the English school teacher who was in the Sudan. She was persecuted and received death threats because she permitted the children to name a teddy bear Muhammad.” They would not tolerate permitting a child a transitional object that would emulate the Prophet Muhammad. Instead, they viewed it as a threat because of they lacked a sense of humor and were unable to tolerate otherness. They felt threatened by a soft object that embodied and expressed the needs of a child to separate. To conclude we see then that it is not only because Hamas use Palestinian civilians, parents, children as human shields (and here I am not even citing the horrendous hostage taking of our Israelis), but more importantly Hamas flagrantly flaunts their unconscious group psychosis's goal to annihilate any idea of play out of pure envy and greed. Hams missed many important development steps like putting affect to language in order to improve their perception of the world, i.e. external reality. Instead they remain internally "hostage" to all these negative destructive annihilating feelings and fantasies that are then acted out. To not underestimate the significance of their goal to destroy play -- that is a scary objective eliciting terror because it is the blood life of interest and creativity. Kill that and you have killed the soul of a people. This is the source of their psychological warfare – targeting the maternal terrors. Moreover, they feel that if they are going to suffer because they missed out on play and they "think" they have been oppressed, by golly by gosh they are going to be damn sure that you are going to feel their suffering all the more so. They are the ultimate “killjoys.”
